Middle Road Picture Day
For our T-Ball, Instructional Boys & Girls, Farm & Little League Boys and all softball teams up through age 15U,
Picture Day will be Saturday, May 1 at Burchfield School/Fields. Each coach has been notified of their team’s
time slot (15 minutes). If you are not sure about your time, please contact your coach. Pony & Colt Boys and Girl’s 18U will
be coordinated at a later date. Please try to arrive a few minutes prior to your schedule time. T-Ball uniforms will be distributed
at the field prior to the pictures. If you miss your team slot, but want to get individual pictures taken, the photographer will
be at Burchfield from 8:30 to 3:00 PM. You can stop up and they will try to fit you in.
The attached PDF file has the picture form and prices. Please try to have the form filled out when you arrive for pictures.
There will be blank forms available. Individual player photos will be taken first, then your team shot. Payment must be made
at the time of the pictures and they will accept cash or checks.

Umpire Clinic Make-Up
If you have a son or daughter that is 12 or older and they want to umpire Farm & LL games this season,
but they missed the previous umpire clinics, please have them at Kiwanis Park this Saturday, May 1 at 11:00 for
a make-up umpire clinic. It will last about 1 ½ hours and there is no cost.
Middle Road Night at McDonald’s – Monday, May 3
Middle Road is having another family night at McDonald’s (on Rte. 8 just North of Saxonburg Blvd.)
on Monday, May 3 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. You can either come inside or use the drive-through and a portion of the evenings sales will
be graciously donated by McDonald’s to Middle Road. If you come inside, Middle Road coaches will be serving the kids. Please stop by
to feed the family, have some fun and help support Middle Road Athletics.
5-Year Planning Committee
Each year, Middle Road has dozens of volunteers that work to coordinate all aspects of our baseball and softball seasons.
While we tend to get caught up taking care of all of our immediate concerns, we need to be doing some long-term planning for our
fields and facilities. To accomplish this, we are looking for any volunteers that would like to be on a “5-Year Planning Committee”.
The committee would probably meet every couple of months to plan our long-term strategy. Please let me know if you are interested in
getting involved.
