General Information About Middle Road Tournaments at Burchfield Elementary

· There are two baseball fields behind Burchfield Elementary

· There is a parking lot behind the school next to the fields

· There is additional parking in front of the school

· Please be careful parking against the outfield fence at the field firthest from the concession stand as that is known to be Home Run territory and cars may be damaged. Park at your own risk.

· There is a concession stand that will be open during all tournament games featuring pizza, hot dogs, pretzels, fries, chicken fingers, nachos, popcorn, candy, slushees, ice cream and a large assortment of drinks

· There are two restrooms at the concession stand

· There are small bleachers at each field

· There is plenty of grassy area at each field and we highly recommend you bring lawn chairs and sun shade umbrellas or awnings

· There is a playground for small children between the fields and an additional playground in front of the school

· There are many restaurants within 10 minutes drive of the fields. There is a pizza shop at the bottom of Burchfield Rd near Rte 8, and there are restaurants either direction on Rte 8 (more to the right). There is a Giant Eagle to the left on Rte 8 at 2^nd traffic light.

· There is a public pool (Kiwanis Park) approximately 10 minutes from the school. Take Burchfield Rd to Rte 8 and turn left. Go to 2^nd light and turn right on Butler Plank Rd. Follow to stop sign and turn right on Klieber. Go ¼ mile and turn left on Virginia. Go to stop sign and turn left on Mt. Royal Blvd. Go to traffic light and turn right. Entrance to Kiwanis Park will be ¼ mile on left.
